Why is TrimAce the floor expansion joint solution?
TrimAce is a rigid expansion joint insert device which can move with the floor unlike fillers such as mastic, silicone and cork or cover trims/strips.
It is suitable for wherever an expansion gap is required and can be used on interfaces such as timber/stone, timber/vinyl, timber/carpet and where timber abuts a solid element including walls, mullions and partition glazing. It can also be used as an edge or joint finishing trim in noncritical connections.
This expansion joint is supplied preassembled and simply pushes into a rebate. It allows floors to expand and contract without the need for bonding or fixing. Although intended for new projects, TrimAce can be retrofitted to existing floors unlike other flooring expansion joints.
